Congratulations to Val Ormrod and Karlostheunhappy

Great to see the recent successes of two DWC members celebrated in the latest GWN – GLOUCESTERSHIRE WRITERS’ NETWORK newsletter.

Val Ormrod has been selected as the overall winner of the 2025 Happiful Poetry Competition with her poem ‘Breathing Free’ which will be published in issue 96 of Happiful magazine to be released on 1st March, 2025.

Karlostheunhappy is delighted to be chosen to scrape the rawness and bite the concrete in High Rise, published by the Broken Spine press (from Broken Spine Arts).
