Meeting summary 5 Mar 25

Wednesday night’s DWC meeting had a range of fascinating tales as ever!

DWC meeting at Bream library, 05/03/25
After a helpful talk by Paul Stephens-Wood about copyright and related matters, the main business of the evening began as we shared our work.

We had: a fiery Pegasus erupting on a race track; an invitation to consider whether women are fulfilled or exploited; peacock chariot problems and the dark forebodings of a Prince; an extensive view from a bedroom window, spanning many years of joy and sorrow; a little girl being plunged into darkness while perusing an account of Anne Boleyn’s progress towards decapitation; and a child’s guileless gift of frogs, intended to offer croaking companionship to a gobsmacked granny reputedly due to croak soon.
